He smiled down at her.Mad Micas is committed to holding ourselves and our suppliers to the highest ethical standards. "How?" She asked him with a confused tone. Alexandria looked up at him in confusion. "Well we're going to have to change that, City Girl." Jasper told her with a small smile on his face. And your siblings always look like they want to bite me or something." She told him with her head turned away, causing him to chuckle under his breath. And if it was, hopefully it was for better reasons than the ones he came up with. Was it because she was near him? God, he hoped not. Even without his pathokinesis, he could sense her anxiety. "We know each other." Jasper argued subtly, looking down at her. Just thinking about Tyler made Jasper angry. He heard their chaperone telling Tyler not to drink the "compost tea" he made. Jasper looked ahead to see the a few pairs of students walking in front of them. "I don't like being touched by people I don't really know." Alexandria said with a shiver. She jerked away from him and kept walking. "What's wrong?" He asked her, going to touch her arm. Jasper watched her intently, Alexandria running her hand through her long hair. Alexandria pulled her black hoodie closer to her body, looking away from him. "You should be more careful, darlin'." He told her. Alexandria straightened herself up as they continued to walk. Jasper looked at their current position with a subtle smirk. She nearly tripped on a growing vine that was on the ground before Jasper caught her in his arms, his hands around either one of her forearms. "You don't get to see this type of beauty in New York a lot." Alexandria told him, causing him to nod. Jasper smiled down at her, causing her to look away with a small sigh. ' Don't be nervous.' Alex thought to herself. "You seem intrigued by plant life." Jasper whispered in her ear, almost making her jump. She had been looking around like she had never seen a plant before. Jasper chuckled at her before slowing down his walking to meet up with Alexandria. "I would rather talk to you, Alice." Jasper told his ex lover. Jasper kept his arm interlocked with hers. "Jazz, go talk to her!" Alice nudged him. "Hey, I'll see you later." She said, leaving Alex all alone. Alex had been looking around before hearing her friend's question. "Did you talk to Jasper yet?" Bella said with a smile. Bella and Alexandria had been talking, being sure to keep their voices down. Rose and Emmett were looking at the plants, and Edward was walking alone. Alice had been talking to Jasper, no doubt urging him to go talk to Alex. The students had been walking through the greenhouse. "Compost is cool!" The teacher chaperoning the group told them. It's a full on 'thang." Emmett said, impersonating a southerner with the last word he spoke. She was looking at him with her soft smile. "I don't have a crush on her." Jasper quickly said, turning his eyes to Alice. "It seems that the southern gentleman has developed a little crush on the city girl." Edward said, causing Jasper to roll his eyes. He just smirked a little and kept staring at her. "Jazz, you're staring at her." Rosalie mumbled to her fake twin brother. It was all a bit cliché, but he knew deep down that she was his blood singer. To run his cold fingers through her dark locks of hair. He wanted to be able to hold her, to calm her down. But the feelings he had for Alexandria burned. Even though Alice had already told him that they weren't mates and that she couldn't see their future together anymore, he still have love for her. He didn't want Alice to see him looking at another. Jasper had managed to snag a glance at Alexandria who was too lost in the song that played on her phone to notice him. The buses drove side by side down the large secluded road. Alex and Bella got on a separate bus than the Cullen children. They were going on a field trip to some greenhouse that was near the forest. The juniors and seniors of Forks High quickly piled into two school buses. "Just don't tell anyone, alright?" Alex said with a serious sort of expression. Alex plastered a fake smile on her face before forcing a blush. "I knew it! This is great!" Bella said with a sweet tone. Her awkward expression turned into a bright eyed smile. And she utterly regretted it.īella nearly screamed. So she said the only thing she could think of. She decided last minute not to tell her, instead make up some elaborate lie to lead Bella in a different direction. "What is up with you? Is there something you need to tell me, Alex?" Bella asked her. The bathroom looked a bit stale, but smelled of chlorine and hair spray.
